NYC inaugural fitblr meetup with @splatterpainting, @veggielife and @patricec. Asparagus for all!fitblr feast!
So yesterday in an effort to actual get the Me+Fitness+Blogging the process = Yay! thing going I would hit a Meetup w/others who were actually FitBlogging and Working Out regularly. I knew @splatterpainting from Twitter circles and started reading @94monkeys via her blog. It was great to meet @veggielife and talk Foods I would never eat (brains, cottage cheese and blood based foods FYI), new to us vegetables and other things. She was recovering from a Birthday Night Out so my fear of everyone sprinting around the reservoir while I attempted to bust out my best Joggle were for nothing. I’m so not in “Hi, I’m @teamchunk” mode that I hastily scribbled out my usual@patricec Twitter tag on my nametag…I’ll get better about that with time. It was great to meet everyone and the Healthy Snack picnic photo’d above was a nice little cap to things. Looking forward to doing it again soon….
